The maxi trimaran called Groupama 3 has been bought by Banque Populaire and will be called Banque Populaire VII. It will be competing in the next Route du Rhum 2014, skipped by Armel le Cleac'h.
It will be fitted with a Master UpSideUp with the anti-capsize solution, water detection and alarm manager.
Maxi 80 Prince de Bretagne also has this system on board with the same options.
So has the maxi trimaran Sodeb'O.
As far as cruising yachts are concerned, we have fitted the Sunreef 80' Carbon Line with a Super Yacht UpSideUp, with anti-capsize system and rigging control : 12 load pins
have been installed on the mast, rigging and winches, so that the
skipper is able to check the load and adjust sails accordingly pushing
the boat to the safe maximum at all times.
Additionally, the black box which registers this data and allows Sunreef Yachts to have access to it is installed on the catamaran.
solutions will allow the shipyard to monitor the speeds of the boat at
all times and progress with research on powerful rigs for its future
Are also equiped with an UpSideUp Master : Mc Conaghy's MC2 60, XL Catamaran boats, and several 50' multihulls.
Lastly, several boats sailing round the world have chosen to sail securely with our UpSideUp system.

3 of the teams competing in the Volvo Ocean Race have chosen to fit their boat with our ODSpot navigation led lights : Groupama, Team Sanya and Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing.
Those light offer the best compromise between size, consumption and light intensity.

Ocean Data System fits the 70' Multi One Design boats with its new NDR (Navigation Data Recorder).
This "black box" continuously records at least 24 hours of onboard activity. It is able to keep several weeks of data according to the logging configuration.
As well as continuous recording, a contextual recording can be set up to keep a full history of the atypical sailing conditions and traceable events during the whole life of the vessel.
It is also a precious tool to analyse the boats' navigation performances.
The current teams are the following :
1) Race for Water (Steve Ravussin)
3) Foncia (Michel Desjoyeaux)
4) Groupe Edmond de Rothschild (Sébastien Josse)
5) Spindrift racing (Yann Guichard)
6) Oman Sail (Sidney Gavignet)
7) Paprec Virbac 70 (Jean-Pierre Dick)
The boats met for the first time in La Trinité, Brittany, France from the 6th to the 8th October 2011 (Krys Match).
The real launching of the series will take place in July 2012 with the Krys Ocean Race between New York and Brest, France.
Then The European Tour 2012 will take place between August 29th and October 7th.

Ocean Express runs full speed… and does not capsize
“Following our record of the Atlantic Ocean’s crossing between Dakar and Pointe à Pitre, we have checked the subjects to work out.
The most important points were to manage stress on board and to be able to sleep.
The UpSideUp anticapsize system prevented us from capsizing twice during the New York-Lorient transat and improved considerably the sleeping quality.
It is simple to implement and to program, and 100% reliable, there is no doubt it allowed us to be more efficient and to sail securely”
Equiped with the UpSideUp anticapsize system, the 20’ day boat driven by Benoit Lequin and Pierre-Yves Moreau joined New-York to Lorient in 18 days, 18 hours, 52 minutes et 45 seconds.
